Assyrian Aramaic English 1.0

This application provides access to the Word of God in multiple languages, including Assyrian Neo-Aramaic, Arabic, Persian, and English, offering a diverse linguistic experience for users.

By tapping the small “book” icon located at the top right corner, users can switch between different viewing modes: the “single pane” for a focus on Assyrian Neo-Aramaic only; the “two panes” view, which displays Assyrian Neo-Aramaic at the top with either English, Arabic, or Persian/Farsi at the bottom; or the “verse by verse” mode, presenting a single verse in Assyrian Neo-Aramaic followed by its translation in one of the supported languages.

The app allows users to bookmark and highlight preferred verses for quick reference. Selecting a verse reveals an image button on the bottom toolbar; pressing it opens an editing screen where users can customize images with backgrounds, reposition text, and modify fonts, sizes, colors, and alignment. Completed images can then be saved locally or shared via various platforms.

Users are prompted to grant permission to download audio files of the New Testament texts, which remain stored on their device for offline access. Additional features include note-taking capability, word search within the Bible, swipe gestures for chapter navigation, and a Night Mode setting optimized for reading in low-light conditions to reduce eye strain.

Verses can be shared effortlessly through messaging or social media services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, email, or SMS. The application requires no additional font installation, as it renders complex scripts effectively. Its user-friendly interface features a navigation drawer menu and adjustable font sizes to enhance the reading experience.
